This started by liking a girl who didn’t like me back. She was in pretty much the only friend group I had at the time, so of course things were awkward. I didn’t have anything else to do at night, no way I was going to embarrass myself by hanging out with them, so I started aimlessly wondering around New York City, trying to figure out why I was so unlovable. This was in the middle of December, it was freezing outside, and the streets were desolate, so I thought, “Hm, might as well go inside.” I stumbled into the nearest bar, and quickly fell in love with something that could love me back.
I was really inspired by Tom Wood’s Looking for Love project, and pretty much anything Greg Girard did.
